Aamir Khan turns 46 today. The superstar plans to celebrate his birthday with wife Kiran Rao and other family members.

“I will celebrate my birthday with Ammi (mother), children, Kiran, my wife and other family members,”Aamir told reporters.

Aamir also revealed that his wife Kiran Rao was the first person to wish him today.

The actor is presently busy shooting for director Reema Kagti’s film in which he plays a cop. He is also preparing to play the villain in Dhoom 3.

‘Thank You’ stars stand witness to two weddings

With the release of Thank You drawing closer, it’s leading cast is busy promoting the film in innovative ways. The top guns from the film’s ensemble cast – Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty, Sonam Kapoor and Celina Jaitely – attended specially arranged weddings of two couples – Hazel Thomas Monterio and Santosh Shinde; and Suman Mishra and Kapil Mishra – at a Bungalow in Madh Island.

The event took place in Madh Island where the cast stood as witnesses to the wedding of two couples and congratulated and cheered them.

This type of publicity stunt was designed exclusively keeping the film’s theme in mind.

Thank You is a comedy about marriages, divorces and cheating husbands. Akshay Kumar plays a counselor who helps wives who suspect their husbands of extra-marital affairs.

Gul Panag’s unique wedding….

The very gorgeous biker-babe Gul Panag tied the nuptial knot on Sunday, at Panchkula, a few kilometers from Chandigarh. Gul exchanged the wedding vows with her long-time boy friend Rishi Attari. The wedding was attended by close friends and family members.

Though the Anand Karaj (wedding ceremony) was simple, what made the wedding an affair to remember was the sight of several Royal Enfields in the convoy. The baraat reportedly had riders on over 20 Enfield motorcycles. In fact, some of the women dressed in traditional salwar suits were also driving the motorbikes.

After the wedding was over, the newlyweds preferred a bike ride over sitting in a car decorated with flowers.

Rishi drove the bride away in a Royal Enfield with a sidecar to the reception venue. The couple was followed by the baraatis on 20 odd Bullets.
Everybody knows Gul loves bikes but no one had anticipated that she will make bikes a part of her wedding.

Rishi Attari is a commercial pilot. He belongs to an Amritsar-based family and is settled in New Delhi. Gul and Rishi know each other for the last 11 years.

Shahrukh Khan has been named the worst actor for his performance in My Name Is Khan, which also won the Worst Film Award. Known for exhibiting the best of the worst Indian Cinema, the 3rd Golden Kela Awards, hosted by Cyrus Broacha in Rockdome at Ambience Mall in Gurgoan on Saturday, was quite entertaining and shocking as well.

Shahrukh and Sonam Kapoor as the worst actors (male and female). Sonam was named for her performance in the home production Aisha.

If this wasn’t sufficient, the worst film award went to Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan and the worst director trophy was reserved for Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his Guzaarish.

Arjun Rampal and Kangana Ranaut were named the worst supporting actors (male and female) for their performances in films Housefull and Kites respectively.

The third year of Golden Kela Awards was bigger than before as it received 7,35,697 votes for all the award categories.

However, a few Anti Kela awards were given away to the saving graces of Bollywood like Vishal Bhardwaj for Ishqiya, Habib Faisal for Do Dooni Char, Vikramaditya Motwane for Udaan, and Abhishek Sharma for Tere Bin Laden.

Bebo’s peculiar request….

A very unusual request was made by Kareena Kapoor recently to her Short Term Shaadi director Shakun Batra. The actress requested her director that she wouldn’t eat eggs for a scene, though the script demanded it.

Says a unit source, “Kareena plays a hairstylist in the film and was to shoot a breakfast scene set in a US cafe with Imran Khan. The director Shakun Batra wanted his leading lady to eat scrambled eggs in the scene but she refused to. She pleaded with, argued with and eventually, threw a tantrum.

The director finally gave in. The eggs were substituted by pancakes. And thanks to several retakes, the actress ended up eating as many as 15.”

Says Bebo, “I don’t eat eggs. I gave up eating non-vegetarian food six years ago. I told Shakun we could have me eat eggless pancakes for the scene instead. He was very cooperative.”

She adds that it isn’t a one-off fad. “Even if the scene required it, I won’t have such food. I have laid down that rule and explain my stance when I’m doing any film,” she says firmly.

Gul Panag getting married to her boyfriend today

Rakhi Sawant dances to Mika Singh’s tunes

There is hardly any gossip column which did not go red when Mika Singh and Rakhi Sawant’s kiss controversy struck the limelight. Now, the two have buried their hatchet and Rakhi is doing an item song sung by Mika in her forthcoming flick ‘Qasam Se Qasam Se’. On a recent episode of her comedy show ‘Comedy Circus’, Rakhi Sawant hugged Mika Singh, who had come there as a celebrity judge and publicly declared that they are friends again.

The flick has Rakhi playing a teacher in the film named Delnaz Doodhwala who is born and brought up abroad. She is a sex education teacher in the film and the item song goes something like ‘ Bolne Mein Kya Jaata Hain’. the film is directed by debutante Ashfaque Makrani and will mark the debut of Azim & Faith. In the item song Azim and his gang is trying to grab Rakhi’s attention.

Hollywood Calling for Udita Goswami?

Seems that Hollywood has become the rescue door for our failed Bollywood actresses, who could not taste success here even with their hot and steamy skin shows. First, it was our bold and sexy Mallika Sherawat and now, it is Udita Gswami who has spent a long stay in Los Angeles and has returned only recently. During the two months she spent in the US she has made a lot of friends and acquaintances and she sees a good prospect of shifting base to Los Angeles to start her sagged acting career afresh.

Udita explains that she could not make it in Bollywood because she does not own very Indian looks and feels that she has better prospects in international arena. To kick start her career there, Udita reportedly met Danny Boyle, Gerard Butler and Danzel Washington and also attended the Oscar festivities where she met the likes of Natalie Portman and Gillian Jacobs.

Her efforts do not end here. She has hired a manager, publicist and a lawyer in the US. She has also penned a story and is turning it into a script and screenplay.

“It’s a women centric film. It’s about a girl. I’m really not sure when the film would go on the floors. If it doesn’t work in Bollywood, I am surely giving it to Hollywood,” Udita says.

Dear Udita, all we have to say is that all you need is a little brushing up on your acting skills…. Rest all will follow!!

Zarine Khan shoots a dance number with Salman in Bangkok

Salman Khan’s ‘Veer’ could not get the career of Zarine Khan on an uphill but Sallu Bhai is set on making sure that Zarine keeps going in Bollywood. Not only has he convinced the makers for a role for Zarine in his upcoming film ‘Ready’, but has also managed to get Zarine on-board in a sizzling dance number. Zarine has reportedly practiced for a week to shoot the fun dance sequence with Salman. The song is titled ‘Character Dheela’ and is shot with two choreographers and 100 dancers in Bangkok. Choreographers Raju Khan and Mudassar Khan have tried their best to make the song high on fun quotient.

Not to mention here that Zarine is super excited for the song and canr wait to see how her fans react to her dance moves. “I look up to Salman and he has been a great help and guiding force in my career. Whatever I am today in movies is because of him,” Zarine said in praise of Salman.

Big B to host IPL 4 opening ceremony

According to the latest grapevine, Amitabh Bachchan has been roped to host the opening ceremony of IPL 4. The three companies bidding to stage the ceremony desperately wants Big B on board.

Other than Big B, the IPL governing council has also shown eagerness to include actor Aamir Khan to co-host with Big B. Both Aamir and Big B are unavailable for their suitable comments.

Well, if both the superstars are roped in to host the show then the outcome will be mere spectacular.

The spokesperson also informs, “The actress has given a go-ahead for a legal suit if the culprit (who’s behind creating the picture) is pin-pointed or a re-run of such an incident occurs. She is not going to sit tight if such a thing happens again. We are exploring legal options to stop this malice against actresses of Bollywood."

Says a source from the sets, "Akshay came up with the idea, as he felt by re-registering their marriage, they would prove their fidelity to their wives, while THANK YOU is all about infidelity and temptation."

Along with Akshay, all the other three actors of the film, Bobby Deol, Irrfan Khan and Suniel Shetty are ready to re-register their marriage at the Bandra count in Mumbai. They have approached the registrar of the court to re-register their marriage.

Dino Morea all set to marry Nandita Mahtani

Actor Dino Morea is all set to tie the knot with fashion designer Nandita Mahtani. They have been dating for almost two years and finally set up their mind to settle down. Though the duo has not fixed the wedding date, it is speculated that the wedding will take place in a few months.

Ranbir, Kat split-up

Last week, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif slit-up and the reason for their separation is said to be Ranbir’s ‘Rockstar’ actress Nargis Fakiri. Ranbir is taking too much interest on Nargis which did not go well with Kat. She is also miffed with him that he does not give her enough time.

A source close to the couple throws light on the matter, "It wasn't a surprise for anyone. They had been arguing and fighting for over a month. When the new gal got in the frame, it only got worse. Kat was totally against him spending time with her. There were times when he was with Fakhri and wouldn't pick up Katrina's calls. He said they were meeting to see the film's rushes, but later she realised he was just making excuses to spend time with her."

Ranbir’s ex Deepika Padukone is also another reason for their break up. It is believed that director Ayan Mukherjee is keen to rope Deepika as Ranbir’s heroine for his next project and Katrina does not want her boyfriend to act with his ex-flame again.

Deepika Padukone wants to work with Hirthik, Aamir & Salman

Having being successfully casted in nine Bollywood films during the past four years, Bollywood Actress Deepika Padukone seems to be now looking forward to work with Bollywood Superstars Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

Deepika Padukone came to the Bollywood spotlight with the movie Om Shanti Om co-starring Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan and Arjun Rampal. She was later seen in various other movies sharing the silver screen with Bollywood Actors Akshay Kumar & Saif Ali Khan.

Caught in the whirlwind of two back to back releases Break Ke Baad and Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, Deepika Padukone recently said in an interview “I am looking forward to working with Aamir, Salman and Hrithik as my next agenda.”

With five releases in 2010 alone, the 24-year-old model turned actress has her hands full and is quite happy with the films coming her way. “I am very happy with the films I am being offered. This year has been a classic example of mixture of films from different genres. I would like to continue this trend,” said Deepika, who began her year with psychological thriller Karthik Calling Karthik co-starring Farhan Akhtar and ended it with a patriotic period movie Khelein Hum…

Even though she is juggling different genres with ease at an early stage in her career, Deepika says the process she undergoes as an actor is same for every film.“I am still in the process of getting into a character, living in it, trying to portray it well. Whether I do a Break Ke Baad or Om Shanti Om or KHJJS, the process for me is the same.”Deepika, who has a some romantic comedies in her kitty including Bachna Ae Haseeno and the recent ‘Break Ke Baad’, says she enjoys acting in such films as she grew up watching movies of the kind.“As an audience I have grown up watching romcoms and love stories like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, which had the typical opposing parents, rebellious children and so much drama. I like to star in such movies as an actor as well. I would love to have played Kajol’s role in DDLJ,” she added.

Deepika redesigns the ‘RK’ tattoo

The RK written at the nape of her neck was telling, but with the Ranbir Kapoor chapter over, Deepika Padukonehas now re-designed the tattoo. According to the Bollywood sources, After being in a happy place with Siddharth Mallya , Deepika Padukone had initially decided to do away completely with the RK tattoo by undergoing a laser surgery to get rid of the tattoo on the nape of her neck, which she got while having her relationship with Bollyood Actor Ranbir Kapoor.

However, with the modified version of the tattoo, which reads TMK, is also being loosely interpreted as initials of the movie Tees Maar Khan. The pretty actress was seen flaunting her new tattoo at the premiere of her recently released Bollywood Movie Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. Even after her break up with Ranbir, Deepika Padukone had decided to keep the ‘RK’ tattoo and was even quoted as saying that she wasn’t ‘embarrassed about her tattoo.’So what made Deepika change her mind now? The pretty lady is probably trying to erase away all the signs of her past relationship.

Bollywood Actress Anushka Sharma seems to be in the happiest phase of her life. The pretty lady is quite satisfied with the way her filmy career and personal life are shaping up. Anushka who started her Bollywood journey with King Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, didn’t leave that great an impression on the audience in Badmaash Company with Shahid Kapoor .

But the first day I reached the shoot, we had a scene where I was told to spit on his face. It was my first day and I was anyway quite nervous and he (Akshay) kept saying ‘thook thook, spit on my face’. That really got me stunned.” Akshay really wanted to bring out the best from his actress, even if it was something as gross as spitting. Anushka says, “Though I was nervous, Akshay made it easy and comfortable and the shot went smoothly.” Akshay has always maintained a good rapport with all the newcomer actresses, so is the beautiful Anushka Sharma going to replace the sexy Kat! Priyanka wants to marry six times in real life

Bollywood Actress Priyanka Chopra seems to have taken her role in her latest blockbuster movie “7 Khoon Maaf” a little too seriously! The versatile actress, who gets married seven times in this latest thriller, says she would love to marry at least six times in real life – BUT to the same man.

“I have been planning my wedding since as far back as I can remember! My ideal scenario is getting married six times (to the same man of course),” Priyanka revealed in the upcoming, second anniversary issue of fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar.

The 28-year-old, one of the most eligible singles in tinsel town, already has elaborate plans set in her mind about the six spots and types of ceremonies she would like to have.

“My dadaji’s (grandfather’s) house in Ambala – my ‘big, fat Indian wedding’; underwater at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia; a church in Las Vegas – wearing a short black dress and with the priest dressed as Elvis; the intimate ceremony – at a small, beautiful church in Locarno, Switzerland. It’s on top of a hill that overlooks parts of Germany, Italy, and Switzerland. She also wants to go in for a nikah.

“Only very close family and friends will be present; a nikah – I think it’s a beautiful, romantic ceremony – the curtains, the stolen glances, the words, and finally the acceptance… ‘Kabool hai’; and lastly, the groom’s choice!
